One of the very few books written about teens/kids living with diabetes. I appreciated the realistic struggles of an angst-ridden teen trying to manage her disease while trying to find herself as a person. Diabetes is often overlooked as a mostly "cured" disease, when really it can only be properly managed if those afflicted are diligent in their insulin management and dietary choices. I really liked the contrast of the diabetic "good girl" versus the main character's antagonism with her diabetes and her theory about vampires being misunderstood diabetics. This book also touches on the potential dangers of internet chat rooms for vulnerable teens.

I have read this book three times and I still can't get enough. It is a must read. I love it!
This book is awesome! It is such a fast read, I couldn't put it down! Anyone who is interested in vampires would love this book, it gives great info, has humor, love, everything a good book needs.

I read this book in high school and lost the book. I'm so glad to have downloaded it. This was my favorite book.
This book grabbed me from the first page. The character's description of how a BG high and a BG low was spot on. The book also accurately depicted the day to day challenges. The logic behind linking the first vampires with T1D is absolutely believable.
