Everything comes crashing back. Kai doesn't waste time to go to Sam to proffess his undying love.

It's been awhile since I've read any paranormal books. This book caught my eye so I decided to read it. I'm so glad I did. I was caught up in the story from the very beginning. I loved the Kai and Sammy. Their love story was so sweet.
I 've struggled with this review. First off, I love the book cover, it draws you in without even reading the synopsis.The book does act as a standalone, even though it is part of a series, which is nice. It has a nice love story between Kai and Sammy built into it that showed potential and was very sweet. I also love the premise of the book and it has alot of potential, but in parts it fell flat for me. The characters come across very black and white without a lot of room for growth, which really disappointed me. I am really on the fence with this book, but am looking forward to seeing what else this author turns out.
I received this book from the author, Dannielle Wicks, and Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock for an honest review. Not the usual genre that I pick up for a read but I really enjoyed it. I tend to lean towards supernatural or sci fi romance novels. This book definitely satisfied the supernatural/sci fi need ) It has romance in it but it really was a great story about growth and change. I loved the two main characters and enjoyed some of the supporting characters later on as well, characters who surprised you with who they became. I enjoyed this read and honestly didn't put it down when I started it. I am looking forward to another ready by this same author soon! No overtly sexual scenes.
